We ordered 2 cod and onion ring to share and that is more than enough for 2. The fish is fresh and well-prepared. Food comes fast even there are so many people. The atmosphere is relaxed, good vibe, with stunning beach view.
This was such a delightful find! We were planning to go somewhere else for supper that didn't pan out and we're so glad it worked out this way. The restaurant is quaint and right on the beach. The food was incredible, particularly the fish n chips! The fries were some of the best we've ever had and the fish was so nicely and uniquely seasoned. They also, suprisingly, had dole whip, which was a wonderful way to top off the meal. Highly recommended!

We had our dog with us, so my wife and i got the two piece halibut fish and chips for take-out. Be prepared to pay-up, but in my view, so worth it! Fish is lighted breaded seasoned and flavourful; fires were crisp. We sat at a picnic table close by under a grove of large cedar trees overlooking the shore. Amazing!
We just did a two week trip to the island went to sooo many restaurants all over the whole island tip to tip, west to east coast. We had the shore in the beginning and thought it was the best so we even took a detour the way home to stop in one last time and it was again the best out of every place we went!! Food was amazingggg and affordable!! Best fish and chips my boyfriend got and he got it at over 10 different places!! The staff were so friendly I would recommend this place over any other place on the whole island!
These are honestly the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Thick meaty, juicy, flaky cod loins in a light crispy batter. We also ordered the Halibut burger with fries and onion rings. Everything was super fresh and crispy...plus we sat on the patio overlooking the beach so it doesn’t get much better than that. Also, they don’t skimp on the tartar sauce!!
An absolute favourite, with outstanding food that is matched by the incredible location and service! I can’t recommend Shore enough!! A true Qualicum Beach gem!!
One of the best fish and chips I've had. The batter wasn't too thick at all, crispy, fish flakes when cut and the dip was amazing! I understand why this place gets so busy, I do like their system tho. They hand you a buzzer when your food is ready for pick up. They are right next to the beach, with a good view, lots of seating, lots of parking. You can even take the food to go and eat at one of the benches by the boardwalk. Would've definitely recommended this to people I like.
